Terms of Use
Effective date: July 2026. By using CDL Prep Hub, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Educational use, no warranty of accuracy
Practice questions, study guides, and state pages on CDL Prep Hub are provided as a free educational study aid. We make a good-faith effort to keep content aligned with the AAMVA CDL Manual and current FMCSA regulations, but rules and fees change. We make no warranty that any specific question, fee figure, or procedural detail reflects the current rule in your state on the day you read it. Always confirm requirements with the official manual published by your state DMV before scheduling your knowledge test.
Not a substitute for official materials or training
This site is not the AAMVA CDL Manual, and it is not a substitute for the federally required Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) program. Practicing on this site will not, by itself, qualify you to operate a commercial vehicle. You must complete ELDT through an FMCSA-approved Training Provider Registry school for an initial Class A, Class B, or upgrade to Hazmat, Passenger, or School Bus endorsement.
No professional advice
CDL Prep Hub does not provide legal, medical, or licensing advice. Nothing on this site creates an attorney-client, doctor-patient, or instructor-student relationship.
No affiliation
We are not affiliated with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators, the Department of Transportation, or any state DMV or licensing authority. References to those entities are nominative — we use their names to describe the source of the underlying CDL Manual content.
Acceptable use
You may use this site for personal, non-commercial study. You may not scrape, reproduce, or republish the question bank in bulk for resale or to build a competing site. You may not attempt to overload, probe, or interfere with the operation of this site.
Intellectual property
The site design, branding, study guides, and explanatory copy on CDL Prep Hub are © 2026 CDL Prep Hub. The underlying CDL knowledge concepts are drawn from the publicly published AAMVA Model Commercial Driver License Manual, which is in the public domain as a federal/state-government work product.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CDL Prep Hub and its contributors are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including failed knowledge or skills tests, lost employment opportunities, or DMV fees — arising from your use of this site. Your DMV exam results are entirely your responsibility.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change.
